Gantry Plastic Pelletizer

Function of the Cutter: Primarily used for cold-cutting pelletizing in strand pelletizing lines. Its operating principle is to clamp the cooled plastic strands emerging from the extruder die using a pair of wear-resistant rubber traction rollers and feed them to a rotating roller for cutting.

Key Features: Typically characterized by smooth operation, low noise, and high output. Cleaning and maintenance are relatively easy; many models require only the top cover. The bottom of the frame is often equipped with universal wheels and fixed feet for easy movement and positioning.

* Many models feature features that facilitate quick maintenance and cleaning, such as quick-release roller supports, fully openable feed ports, and material guides for seamless cleaning.

* Key components (e.g., the screw and barrel) are often manufactured from imported, high-strength, high-quality carbon structural steel, undergoing a special hardening treatment for enhanced wear resistance and durability.

* Applicable Materials: In addition to materials compatible with gantry pelletizers, this machine is particularly adept at processing:

* Highly filled materials: such as high-content mineral fillers (calcium masterbatch, carbon black masterbatch, etc.).

* High-performance engineering plastics: such as PC, POM, PMMA, LCP, etc.

* High-glass fiber reinforced materials: Some models are specifically marked as processing materials with a glass fiber content of up to 50%.
