Functions and applications of horizontal mixer
Gaoxin is a supplier of horizontal heating mixers.1. It is suitable for the stirring, mixing and color blending of various plastic particles, powders, new and old materials, and additives. The single-layer bucket wall has a pure stirring function, and the double-layer can be heated. It is commonly used for the stirring and drying of large-capacity plastic dyeing granulation, modification, recycled material recovery, PVC, TPR, TPE, PP, PE and other plastic granule powders, as well as for the stirring and drying of chemical powder materials (such as calcium carbonate, barium sulfate, talcum powder, flame retardants, titanium dioxide, PVC powder, additives, ceramic glazing materials, etc.).
2. Double-layer oil heating is adopted, with the temperature usually ranging from 50 to 150 degrees, and can reach up to 300 degrees at the maximum.
3. A screw feeder can be added to facilitate operation by personnel.

Mixing and Blending Type

High Mixing Uniformity: The unique horizontal U-shaped barrel combines dual-motion mixing (rotating and orbiting impellers) to create a highly efficient three-dimensional compound motion, eliminating dead zones and ensuring that every particle is perfectly evenly mixed.

Large Loading Capacity, High Efficiency: Suitable for multiple material locations, the horizontal structure provides greater stability, accommodating larger loads and increasing single-pass processing capacity, significantly improving production efficiency.

Clean and Fast Discharge: A wide-opening manual valve/butterfly valve or pneumatic flap-type discharge design ensures rapid and thorough discharge without residue, facilitating cleanup and color and material changes.

Stable and Durable Operation: The heavy-duty steel structure and precision-engineered and reinforced core transmission components withstand continuous heavy loads, resulting in a low failure rate and long service life.

Suitable for mixing a variety of powders, granules, crushed materials, flakes, new and old materials, and materials of varying colors, types, and sizes. High speed ensures uniform and fast mixing.
Mixing/Heating and Drying Type

Simultaneous Mixing and Drying:

Precise temperature control, multi-purpose in one machine: The interlayer design allows for steam or thermal oil heating. Combined with a PID intelligent temperature control system, the temperature can be precisely controlled to ±1-2°C. This perfectly meets the needs of processes requiring heating, drying, humidity control, or reactions.

Efficient Heat Exchange: The paddles continuously stir the material during mixing, ensuring full contact with the heating surface for uniform heating, preventing local overheating and charring, and significantly improving thermal efficiency.

Oil heating primarily utilizes an electric heating plate to heat the thermal oil in the oil tank. This heat is then used to stir and dry the material in the barrel during mixing. The interlayer heating in the barrel allows for adjustable temperatures of 50-200°C, ensuring thorough drying and drainage, resulting in rapid, uniform, and mixed drying.

Internal Paddles

The mixing principle is: Utilizing a double "S"-shaped mixing blade, the outer spiral brings the material from both sides toward the center, while the inner spiral transports the material from the center to the sides, creating efficient convection mixing.
